Dave and I have been dating for around 5 years. We meet when I moved to Wilmington De… he lived across the street from the house I had moved into. We always take a vacation every year and this year we decided to go to California because it was always a place I wanted to visit. One place that I really wanted to see was Catalina Island. I heard so much about it and it looked so beautiful online. So Dave and I took a boat from Huntington Beach to Catalina Island. We decided to rent a golf cart so we can take in all the scenery that the island had to offer. We drove all around the island until we finally found this beautiful spot on top of the mountain over looking the water. Dave then got done on his knee and told me he loved me and wanted to spend the rest of his life with me and asked me to marry him. I then laughed, cried and laughed again…some where in between I said yes. It was the most amazing experience of my life and a moment I will never forget. Just saying that I got engaged on Catalina Island still gives me butterflies in my stomach. My ring is absolutely gorgeous and I have to thank Joel Cohen for helping my fiance pick out a ring that is beautiful. Our wedding is in March and we will come back to visit Joel for our wedding bands!
