Lou and I took a vacation in Tampa, FL where we visited an off-shore island named Shell Key. Within minutes of our boat arriving, we spotted a manatee. Throughout our day we saw many exotic animals including: sting ray, dolphins, squid, hermit crabs, and even another manatee! We grabbed our snorkeling gear, and some bags to collect some of the beautiful shells that the island is known for. While in the water, Lou spotted a large, orange shell on the ocean floor. I was too scared to touch it, so Lou picked up the shell for me. He opened the shell, and inside was a beautiful, radiant diamond ring. Lou knelt in the sand and asked me to marry him… and I said “of course!”
