Steven and Cynthia were long time classmates since fifth grade in Ridley School District. During the eight years of school, they were very shy in revealing their feelings for each other. They never dated but at a few school functions were seen dancing together. After graduation, they went their separate ways. Ten years later, Cindy went to their high school reunion looking to see if Steve would be there. Unfortunately, he did not attend. She heard that he had married.

Years later in 2006, Steve’s wife had passed away leaving him with two young sons, Zachary and Ethan to raise. Steve had thought about his 25th class reunion he had missed. He went on to classmates.com and saw his childhood classmate, Cindy as a member. Thinking back to his old feelings for Cindy, he sent her an email message. As fate would have it, Cindy was single. She replied to Steve’s email. They met, letting their feelings for each other be known. Soon after, Steve had proposed to Cindy on a beautiful, warm November night on the Delaware Waterfront. They were happily married on March 15, 2008 in Glen Mills, PA. Currently, they reside in Garnet Valley, PA and will be celebrating their first anniversary together with family and friends.
