Justin and I met at Lock Haven University where we were both freshmen taking the same classes. I can remember sitting behind Justin in health class and wanting to know more about him. We were brought together by friends and we were just friends at first. When I came back from Valentine’s weekend Justin had red roses for me and I knew that we were more than just friends at that moment.

I was doing my internship in Florida and Justin came down to visit. We had a fun-filled weekend of simulated skydiving, airboating, and enjoying the Florida weather. Justin made reservations at a restaurant, Enzo’s, where we had to get dressed up. Justin picked me up from work and we got dressed and headed to the restaurant. When we got to Enzo’s there were flowers on the table for me from Justin. This is where I got very nervous. We made it through dinner with no proposal so my anxiety went away. When we got to the hotel I opened the door to our room and on the table were two candles and a digital picture frame. The frame began to go through pictures of him and I with music playing through the speakers. The very last picture was of THE ring. At that time Justin got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Of course I said yes and we began the task of calling everyone we knew.
